Diagnostic-code catalog

PACT Act presumptive conditions
These are general research lists, not eligibility results. Burn-pit and Agent Orange presumptions have different qualifying service rules. VA must verify the applicable location and dates, exposure rules, and a current diagnosis before applying a presumption to an individual claim.

Gulf War era and post-9/11 burn-pit presumptives

VA presumes toxic exposure for service in listed locations during covered dates. A listed diagnosis may qualify when the service and condition requirements are met.

The PACT Act expanded presumptions for specified respiratory conditions and cancers. VA still verifies that the diagnosis and the veteran's location, dates, and character of service meet the applicable requirements.

PACT Act additions to the Agent Orange presumptive list
