Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information My Claim Packet collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are an independent educational resource — not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Who we are

My Claim Packet is a product operated by FLIPIT3D. Together, the My Claim Packet service and its FLIPIT3D operator are referred to as “we” or “us.” We operate myclaimpacket.com. We publish general educational information about VA disability compensation topics and provide interactive tools that help veterans organize their own research. We do not prepare or file claims, and we are not a VA-accredited VSO, claims agent, or attorney.

Information we collect

  • Account information if you sign up (for example email address and authentication details via our sign-in provider, Clerk).
  • Content you choose to save in product features (for example coach progress, saved guides, or tool inputs you store in your account).
  • Email addresses you submit for newsletters, waitlists, or downloadable checklists.
  • Usage analytics such as pages visited, approximate timestamps, and technical metadata needed to operate and improve the site. We use first-party analytics and may use privacy-conscious platform analytics (for example Vercel Analytics).
  • Payment metadata when you purchase a paid product. Card numbers are handled by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • AI tool inputs you voluntarily submit to AI-assisted features. Do not paste Social Security numbers, full VA file numbers, or other highly sensitive identifiers into AI tools.

How we use information

  • Provide and secure the website, accounts, and tools.
  • Respond to support requests you send us.
  • Send transactional or requested emails (for example account or checklist delivery).
  • Understand aggregate traffic and improve content and product quality.
  • Detect abuse, debug outages, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private claim narratives for advertising.

Sharing

We use service providers that process data on our behalf to run the product, which may include authentication (Clerk), hosting (Vercel), database hosting (Neon/Postgres), email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe, when enabled), and AI model gateways for features you explicitly use. Those providers only receive what is needed to perform their service.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or transfer of the service — with notice when legally required.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may break account features.

Data retention

We keep account and saved-product data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal compliance, and abuse prevention. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Your choices

  • Update or delete account information through your account settings where available.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing or newsletter emails using the link in those emails.
  • Request access or deletion by emailing support@vadisabilitymax.com.

Children

The site is intended for adults researching veterans benefits topics. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
